HR Jobs Consultancy in Bengaluru seeks a Head - Civil Projects to lead end-to-end execution of a large-scale high-rise residential development. You will oversee planning, design coordination, procurement, construction, and handover, driving quality, safety, and delivery targets.

The role requires 20+ years in civil construction with proven experience managing residential projects valued at ₹100 Crore and above, with strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in civil construction with high-rise residential exposure.
• Proven track record of independently managing residential developments valued at ₹100 Crore or higher.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, planning, contracts, budgeting, quality control, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle of high-rise residential construction from planning to handover.
• Develop and implement execution strategies aligned with quality, cost, and safety.
• Manage projects valued at ₹100 Crore+ ensuring timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, structural and MEP consultants, contractors, authorities, and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, schedules, resource planning, and risk mitigation.
• Drive project reviews, MIS reporting, and governance with senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Lead vendor selection, contracts, procurement, and commercial discussions.
• Review drawings, BOQs, specs, and technical documentation.
• Oversee quality audits and continuous improvement.
• Build and mentor a high-performing project team.

About the Role

We are looking for an accomplished Head - Civil Projects to lead the end-to-end execution of a large-scale high-rise residential development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete lifecycle of high-rise residential construction projects from planning, design coordination, execution, and commissioning through final handover.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies aligned with quality, cost, safety, and delivery objectives.
• Manage projects with an approximate value of 100 Crore or above, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, government authorities, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress, project schedules, resource planning, and risk mitigation.
• Drive project reviews, MIS reporting, and governance with senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Lead vendor selection, contract management, procurement coordination, and commercial discussions.
• Review engineering drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Oversee project quality audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and mentor a high-performing project team while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 20+ years of experience in civil construction with significant exposure to high-rise residential projects.
• Proven experience in independently managing end-to-end residential developments valued at 100 Crore or higher.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project planning, contracts, budgeting, quality control, and execution.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.

Technical Skills

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Exposure to MEP design coordination will be a distinct advantage.
• Familiarity with project scheduling and project management tools.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, engineering standards, and execution methodologies.

Educational Qualification

• B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering from a reputed engineering institution.
