Head – Capital Markets & Banking Practice (IT Leader)

Location: Mumbai/Noida/Kolkata Experience: 15+ years

About the Role

We're looking for a senior IT leader with deep capital markets and banking expertise to grow our presence with global financial institutions. You will shape strategy, win new business, and build trusted relationships with technology leaders at client organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business growth in capital markets and banking by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
• Lead solutioning: write, review, and present proposals, RFP responses, and solution architectures.
• Engage as a credible advisor with CTOs, CIOs, and enterprise architects of global firms.
• Set up, scale, and run Global Capability Centers (GCCs) for clients, covering talent, governance, delivery models, and operating processes.
• Work with delivery teams to make sure solutions are executed with quality and to client expectations.
• Bring market insight on regulatory, technology, and industry trends into the practice's offerings.

What We're Looking For

• Domain knowledge: strong command of the capital markets value chain (trading, risk, post-trade, wealth/asset management) and core banking.
• Global experience: a proven track record with global banks, investment firms, or tier-1 IT services and consulting organizations.
• GCC experience: hands-on experience setting up or operating GCCs in India.
• Commercial track record: demonstrated revenue growth and deal closures, with strong proposal-writing and review skills.
• Technical credibility: enough depth to hold their own with architects on cloud, data, modernization, and integration.
• Communication and leadership: excellent communication and executive presence, with a willingness to travel internationally.
