Job Description

The key responsibility of this role is the liquidation of immovable assets in stock, ensuring compliance with SARFAESI Act and rules, and company policies. This involves working closely with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate efficient and effective asset recovery processes, with a keen understanding of the liquidation process.

Accountabilities

• Liquidation Management: Manage the liquidation process of immovable assets as per SARFAESI provision, including valuation, marketing, and sale. Coordinate and empanel auction houses, dealers, and other vendors to facilitate the sale of assets. Ensure ways to find end users for possessed assets.
• Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients and the Collections team for seamless liquidation of assets. Negotiate settlements and payment plans wherever appropriate.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all repossession and liquidation activities. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing asset recovery and liquidation.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on repossession and liquidation activities, including financial performance and asset status. Analyze data to identify trends and improve recovery strategies.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with legal, finance, and collections teams to ensure smooth operations and communication. Participate in team meetings to discuss strategies and performance improvements.
