The Corporate Institute in Kolkata is seeking a Head of Accounts (CA Mandatory) to lead the Finance & Accounts function for a growing cosmetics and personal care business.

The successful candidate will have CA qualification, 7–10 years’ experience in Finance & Accounts, and hands-on SAP ERP (FI/CO). You will drive statutory compliance, taxation, audits, budgeting, and financial planning while mentoring the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete Finance & Accounts function.

• Ensure GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act compliance.
• Oversee internal, statutory, tax, and regulatory audits.
• Drive financial reporting, MIS, and dashboards.
• Develop internal controls, accounting policies, and processes.
• Ensure accurate accounting and SAP ERP reconciliations.
• Partner with senior management for strategic decisions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts & Finance team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Head of Accounts to lead and manage the Finance & Accounts function for a growing organization in the Cosmetics & Personal Care Industry. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in financial management, statutory compliance, taxation, audits, budgeting, and financial planning, along with hands‑on experience in SAP ERP. Candidates with prior experience in the Cosmetics, FMCG, Personal Care, Beauty, or Consumer Products industry will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete Finance & Accounts function of the organization.
• Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and business analysis.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization effectively.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory regulations.
• Handle internal, statutory, tax, and other regulatory audits.
• Drive financial reporting, MIS preparation, and management dashboards.
• Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes.
• Ensure accurate accounting, reporting, and reconciliations through SAP ERP.
• Partner with senior management to support strategic business decisions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts & Finance team.

Required Skills & Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• 7-10 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Strong hands‑on experience working on SAP ERP (FI/CO preferred).
• Excellent knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and decision‑making capabilities.
• Experience in managing large accounting operations and finance teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates from the Cosmetics, Personal Care, Beauty, FMCG, Consumer Products, or Manufacturing industry will be preferred.
• Proven track record of leading finance functions and driving process improvements.
