Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services is seeking a senior finance professional to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for a plant-based manufacturing operation. You will drive cost control, product costing, MIS reporting, and working capital management, coordinating with auditors and banks to ensure robust financial controls.

The role requires 8–12 years of relevant experience, CA/CMA qualifications preferred, with MBA in Finance or M.Com as alternatives.

Qualifications

• CA / CMA preferred; MBA in Finance or M.Com may be considered based on experience.
• 8–12 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in plant-based manufacturing.
• Industry experience in a plant-based manufacturing environment is mandatory.
• Core competencies include product costing, MIS, working capital management, taxation, audit, budgeting and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS, and variance analysis for management.
• Manage cash flow, receivables, payables, and banking operations.
• Oversee cost analysis, product costing, profitability, and cost optimisation.
• Monitor vendor payments, collections, and credit limits.
• Ensure tax compliance, audits, and internal controls.
• Evaluate capex, ROI, and financial risk; manage fixed assets and treasury.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and internal teams.
• Mentor Finance & Accounts team and report to CFO/Management.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, MIS, and variance analysis.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and banking operations.
• Oversee manufacturing cost analysis, product costing, profitability, and cost optimisation.
• Monitor vendor payments, customer collections, credit limits, and outstanding balances.
• Ensure tax compliance, statutory filings, audits, and internal financial controls.
• Evaluate capital expenditure, investment proposals, ROI, and financial risks.
• Manage fixed assets, insurance, treasury, and foreign exchange exposure.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and internal departments.
• Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team, ensuring accountability and operational efficiency.
• Regular reporting to CFO and Management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualifications: CA / CMA preferred. Candidates with an MBA in Finance or M.Com may also be considered, depending on their experience and organisational requirements.
• Experience: Preferably 8-12 years of relevant professional experience, with substantial exposure to manufacturing finance.
