The role reports to the Managing Director and demands strategic oversight of financial planning, accounting, and controls to support rapid business growth. You will lead accounting, finalization of books, MIS, reporting to regulators, tax planning, budgeting, cash flow management, audits, and stakeholder liaison while mentoring the finance team and representing the company

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Oversee the process of finalizing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Develop and maintain robust MIS frameworks to provide timely and accurate financial information for decision-making.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports for internal stakeholders, management, and regulatory authorities as per prescribed timelines.
• Establish and monitor financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
• Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Manage tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities, optimizing tax efficiency while ensuring full compliance with tax laws.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to develop realistic budgets aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor cash flows, optimize liquidity, and manage working capital efficiently to support business operations.
• Monitoring & coordinating Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, and Cost Audit etc.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, regulatory authorities, and financial institutions.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Representing company before banks, financial partners, institutions, investors, auditors & regulators

Key Responsibilities:

• As the Head accounts and finance, you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial strategy and operations of our organization. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic insights to drive business growth.
