• Lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Oversee finalisation of financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.
• Develop and maintain MIS frameworks to provide timely financial information for decision-making.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
• Establish and monitor financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure adherence to policies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and tax laws.
• Lead the annual budgeting process with department heads to align with objectives.
• Monitor cash flows, optimize liquidity and manage working capital.
• Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and cost audits as required.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, investors, auditors, regulators and institutions.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team to foster excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• As the Head accounts and finance, you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial strategy and operations of our organization. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic insights to drive business growth.
• 1. Accounting: Lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• 2. Finalization of Books: Oversee the process of finalizing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• 3. Management Information System (MIS): Develop and maintain robust MIS frameworks to provide timely and accurate financial information for decision-making.
• 4. Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports for internal stakeholders, management, and regulatory authorities as per prescribed timelines.
• 5. Finance Control: Establish and monitor financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
• 6. Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• 7. Taxation: Manage tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities, optimizing tax efficiency while ensuring full compliance with tax laws.
• 8. Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to develop realistic budgets aligned with business objectives.
