Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant to independently lead the Absence Management workstream within a larger Oracle Fusion HCM implementation. The role includes ownership of Absence Management, Redwood enablement, and Oracle HCM AI Agent initiatives across HCM modules in collaboration with business teams.

The candidate will drive requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support, ensuring seamless cross-functional delivery

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of HCM experience with at least 4+ years in Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud and 3+ end-to-end Oracle Fusion HCM implementation projects including Oracle Absence Management.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the Oracle Fusion Absence Management workstream from requirements gathering through go-live and hypercare.
• Lead client workshops, requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and design discussions.
• Configure and implement Oracle Absence Management; design leave policies, accrual calculations, eligibility rules, vesting rules, carryover policies and balances.
• Support integration discussions with other modules and third-party systems as applicable.
• Provide functional support for data migration, reports, dashboards, and analytics.
• Lead CRP, SIT, UAT, deployment, cutover, and hypercare activities.
• Collaborate with technical, reporting, integration, and project teams for delivery.
• Provide user training and solution documentation.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant to independently lead and deliver the Oracle Fusion Absence Management workstream for a Oracle Fusion HCM implementation. The selected candidate will serve as the primary Absence SME and will be responsible for requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

In addition to Absence Management ownership, the consultant will support Redwood enablement, Redwood process adoption, and Oracle HCM AI Agent initiatives across HCM modules by collaborating with functional and business teams to drive user experience modernization and automation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities And Skills Required

Absence Management Workstream Ownership

• Independently own and lead the Oracle Fusion Absence Management workstream from requirements gathering through go-live and hypercare, serving as the Absence SME for the project.
• Lead client workshops, requirement gathering sessions, fit-gap analysis, and solution design discussions.
• Configure and implement Oracle Absence Management
• Design and configure leave policies, accrual calculations, eligibility rules, vesting rules, carryover policies, and absence balances.
• Support integration discussions involving absence module with other modules and third-party systems as applicable.
• Provide functional expertise to support data migration, data conversion, reports, dashboards, and analytics requirements.
• Lead CRP, SIT, UAT, deployment, cutover, and hypercare support activities.
• Collaborate with technical, reporting, integration, and project teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide user training, solution documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Redwood Enablement

• Support and configure Oracle Redwood adoption initiatives across all HCM modules.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities to leverage Redwood user experiences and transactions.
• Support redwood testing, business validation, and user adoption activities related to Redwood-enabled functionality.
• Provide recommendations on Redwood process optimization, adoption planning, and change management considerations.

HCM AI Agents

• Support Oracle HCM - standard AI Agent initiatives across all the HCM modules.
• Work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and employee self-service improvements.
• Assist in defining AI Agent use cases, requirements, conversation flows, and business processes.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams supporting Oracle AI Agent configuration and testing activities.
• Support business validation, user adoption, and rollout activities for AI-enabled HCM capabilities.

Summary

This role requires an individual who can independently own and deliver the Oracle Fusion Absence Management workstream end-to-end, while also contributing to overall HCM Redwood enablement, process modernization, and Oracle AI Agent adoption initiatives across the program. The candidate must be comfortable working directly with client stakeholders and driving solution delivery with minimal supervision.
