Job summary

Birlasoft Limited is seeking an HCM Functional Lead – Absence Expert to join our Oracle Cloud HCM practice in India. You will lead end-to-end Absence configurations, collaborate with HR teams, and guide integrations and reports within Agile projects.

The role requires strong communication, client-facing experience, and the ability to work across onsite/offshore teams to deliver comprehensive Absence solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years IT experience with at least 4+ years in Absence module.
• Oracle Cloud HCM Absence expertise for implementation/support.
• Experience shaping Oracle Cloud solutions based on client requirements.
• End-to-end Absence configuration in Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and design workshops.
• Experience with integrations and reporting for functional solutions.

Responsibilities

• Handle design workshops and create workbooks to support system design.
• Design and build/configure complex Absence requirements in Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Provide guidance on integrations, conversions and reports with technical streams.
• Identify, assess and resolve complex functional issues.
• Collaborate with HR and business teams for requirement mapping and validation.
• Support UAT and post go-live activities to ensure smooth operation.

HCM Functional Lead – Absence Expert

Roles & Responsibilities

• Should have a total of at least 7+ years IT experience with a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience on Absence
• Oracle cloud HCM expert and will be assigned to implementation/support projects where your domain experience on Absence will be used.
• Shape solutions within Oracle Cloud based on key client requirements following Agile methodology.
• Design, and build/configuration of complex requirements in Oracle HCM Cloud
• Conduct design workshops and create workbooks and documentation to support the system design.
• Work with technical streams and provide guidance on integrations, conversions and reports.
• Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of complex functional issues/problems.

Product Skills

• Experience in client facing and working with multiple stakeholders/Business Teams (HR) teams
• Ability to do requirement gathering and mapping of the requirements with the Cloud product
• Should have done end to end configuration of Absence module
• Must be expert in module-based Fast Formulas in Absence
• Experience in functional design documentation and functional testing including integration and testing
• Experience in user acceptance testing support and post Go live support activities
• Understand the business requirements and interpret them to appropriate configurations on Oracle HCM Cloud
