Job summary

Eon Infotech is seeking a Hardware Solutions Architect to engage with clients, analyze requirements, and architect comprehensive hardware solutions aligned with internal capabilities. The role includes preparing proposals, resource estimation, and defining scalable architectures for defense electronics products.

The candidate will collaborate with software, mechanical, PCB and production teams to finalize solutions, create project plans with timelines, and support pricing strategies for bids.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years building products for armed forces, DPSUs, DRDO labs or defence OEMs.
• Strong experience in analog and digital electronics for mission-critical systems.
• Make-I/Make-II/Defence acquisition exposure preferred.

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and technically strong Hardware Solutions Architect professional to engage with clients, understand their operational and technical requirements, evaluate business opportunities, and develop comprehensive technical solutions. The role involves preparing technical proposals, estimating resources and budgets, and defining system architecture aligned with in-house capabilities.

Role & responsibilities :

Client Engagement & Requirement Analysis

• Visit client sites to understand business needs and technical requirements.
• Conduct detailed discussions with stakeholders to gather functional and non-functional requirements.

2. Solution Design & System Architecture

• Develop high-level and detailed system architecture.
• Define technical specifications, technology stack and integration approaches.
• Ensure proposed solutions are Scalable, Cost-effective, and aligned with client expectations.

3. Documentation

• Prepare comprehensive technical and solution documents.
• Collaborate with internal teams (S/W, Mechanical, PCB & Production) for solution finalization.
• Prepare project plan listing resources required (manpower, tools, infrastructure) as well as timelines.
• Support commercial teams in pricing strategy and bid submissions through cost estimation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate have at least 5 years experience in developing products for armed forces, DPSUs (BEL, HAL, BDL, etc.), DRDO labs and private defence OEMs in mission-critical components and systems. Experience must be in system design involving analog and digital electronics proposal development.
• Preferred: Strong Analog Electronics design skills.
• Candidates with PCB/Schematic Design, VLSI experience are NOT SUITABLE.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills.
• Ability to interact confidently with senior client stakeholders.
• Project estimation and budgeting skills.
• Exposure to Make-I, Make-II, iDEX, Defence Aquisition processes is preferred.
• Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/ M.Tech in Electronics or Communications with minimum 65% marks
