Job summary

Syook, a Noida-based IIoT startup, is seeking a Hardware Integration Intern to join its technical team. You will assist in deploying, configuring, and validating IoT hardware for diverse customer environments.

You will collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams, gain hands-on exposure to BLE, sensors, gateways, and edge devices, and contribute to real-world product deployments.

Job Description
Role Overview

As a Hardware Integration Intern, you will support the deployment, integration, testing, and validation of IoT hardware solutions. You will work closely with the hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure devices are configured, integrated, and functioning reliably across different customer environments. This role offers hands‑on exposure to industrial IoT systems, hardware troubleshooting, and real‑world product deployments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in assembling, configuring, and testing IoT hardware devices and gateways.
  • Support integration of sensors, BLE beacons, gateways, and other edge devices.
  • Perform hardware installation, wiring, and connectivity checks for prototypes and production units.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, power, and communication issues during testing and deployment.
  • Validate device functionality and perform basic hardware diagnostics.
  • Assist in firmware flashing, device provisioning, and configuration.
  • Work with engineering teams to identify and resolve hardware integration issues.
  • Prepare test reports, installation documentation, and hardware inventory records.
  • Support prototype validation, field testing, and customer deployment activities.
  • Follow hardware quality standards and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Requirements
  • Freshers – B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of electronic components, circuits, and embedded hardware.
  • Familiarity with IoT devices, sensors, communication protocols (BLE, Wi‑Fi, UART, SPI, or I2C) is a plus.
  • Hands‑on experience with soldering, multimeters, or basic lab equipment is an advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to work with hardware in laboratory and field environments.
