Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Hyderabad is seeking a hands-on hardware test engineer to support board bring-up, debugging at board/system level, and to develop verification plans for complex hardware platforms.

You will work with PMICs/DC-DC/LDOs, perform SI measurements on I2C/UART/PCIe, and use oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, while automating tests with Python. Soldering and test equipment logistics are a plus for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in hardware bring-up and board/system debugging.
• Power circuit verification with PMICs, DC-DC converters, and LDOs.
• SI measurements for I2C, UART, SMBus, JTAG and PCIe, DDR4/DDR5.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers; Python scripting for automation.
• Basic soldering and logistics coordination for test hardware.

• Board Bring-Up & System Debug
  • Experience in hardware bring-up, debugging issues at board/system level.
• Hardware Verification & Validation Support
  • Power circuit verification involving PMICs, DC-DC converters, and LDOs.
  • Signal Integrity (SI) measurements for:
    • Low-speed interfaces: I2C, UART, SMBus, JTAG
    • High-speed interfaces: PCIe, ONFI, DDR4, DDR5
• Test Equipment Handling
  • Proficient in using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
  • Hands-on with equipment automation using Python scripts.
• Additional Technical Skills
  • Basic soldering/de-soldering experience.
  • Shipping & logistics coordination for test equipment and hardware.
