Job summary

Exicom in Bengaluru/Bengaluru area seeks a hardware-focused engineer to drive detailed board bring-up, design and commission of test systems, and development of endurance test jigs using Raspberry Pi/Arduino. The role emphasizes precise test documentation, data analysis, and collaboration with SW and mechanical teams.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with 16/32-bit MCUs (ARM Cortex/PowerPC), EMI/EMC debugging, and building internal engineering standards aligned with ISO/IEC/CISPR.

• Determine the design limits of individual hardware blocks like power supply, CAN, MOSFET drives etc for worst case operating scenarios.
• Develop Internal Engineering Standards for Electrical, Environmental and Mechanical test specific to Mobility products based on global ISO/IEC/CISPR standards.
• Apply knowledge of industry acclaimed tools like Python/Matlab for data collection, segmentation and analytics specific to electronic hardware to suggest design improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proficient in basics of Electronic Circuit tracing. Familiar with schematic design tools like OrCAD Capture, Circuit simulation using LTSpice/PSpice.
• Experience with 16/32-bit microcontroller HW powered by ARM Cortex / PowerPC architectures.
• Basic understanding on power supply testing , Analog and Digital Circuit characteristics, Interfacing of peripherals with microcontrollers
• Hands on experience in HW level EMI/ EMC debugging and compliance test execution is a plus
• Should have handled V&V cycle end-to-end for atleast 1 product at established organizations
