Job summary

Valuemomentum is seeking a QA/Testing professional with hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter experience in a P&C insurance setting. You will perform functional, integration, regression, system and end-to-end testing across PolicyCenter modules and external interfaces.

The role requires 3 to 5 years of QA/testing experience in Commercial Lines, strong knowledge of PolicyCenter workflows, product model, rating and underwriting rules, and agility in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years QA/testing experience in P&C insurance.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Strong Commercial Lines experience.
• Understanding of P&C concepts and PolicyCenter workflows.
• Experience with functional and integration testing.
• Knowledge of PolicyCenter Product Model, Rating, Underwriting, and Rules.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing for Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Validate PolicyCenter policy lifecycle transactions (Submission, Quote, Bind, Issue, Renewal, Cancellation, Reinstatement, Rewrite).
• Create and execute test scenarios, test cases, and scripts from business requirements.
• Validate Commercial Lines products, coverages, underwriting rules, rating, workflows, and policy transactions.
• Perform integration testing between PolicyCenter and external systems.
• Log, track, and retest defects using JIRA, ALM, ADO or similar tools.
• Work with BAs, Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Support regression testing for releases, enhancements, and Guidewire upgrades.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3 to 5 years of QA/Testing experience in the P&C Insurance domain.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Strong Commercial Lines (CL) experience.
• Good understanding of P&C insurance concepts and PolicyCenter workflows.
• Experience with functional and integration testing.
• Good understanding of PolicyCenter Product Model, Rating, Underwriting, and Rules.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
