Job summary

ValueMomentum is seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter QA professional in Hyderabad to drive testing for Commercial Lines insurance products.

You will perform functional, integration, and end-to-end testing of PolicyCenter, validate policy lifecycle transactions (Submission, Quote, Bind, Issue, Renewal, Cancellation, Reinstatement, Rewrite), and collaborate with BAs, developers, and QA teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of QA/Testing experience in the P&C Insurance domain.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Good understanding of P&C insurance concepts and PolicyCenter workflows.
• Experience with functional and integration testing.
• Good understanding of PolicyCenter Product Model, Rating, Underwriting, and Rules.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Good communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing for Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Validate PolicyCenter policy lifecycle transactions including Submission, Quote, Bind, Issue, Renewal, Cancellation, Reinstatement, and Rewrite.
• Create and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.
• Validate Commercial Lines products, coverages, underwriting rules, rating, workflows, and policy transactions.
• Perform integration testing between PolicyCenter and external systems.
• Log, track, and retest defects using JIRA, ALM, ADO, or similar tools.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and other QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Support regression testing for releases, enhancements, and Guidewire upgrades.

About the Role

We are looking for a Guidewire PolicyCenter QA professional with strong P&C Insurance experience and hands‑on experience in Commercial Lines (CL).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing for Guidewire PolicyCenter.


• Validate PolicyCenter policy lifecycle transactions including Submission, Quote, Bind, Issue, Renewal, Cancellation, Reinstatement, and Rewrite.


• Create and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.


• Validate Commercial Lines products, coverages, underwriting rules, rating, workflows, and policy transactions.


• Perform integration testing between PolicyCenter and external systems.
