Job summary

QualiZeal in Hyderabad, India is seeking a Guidewire Automation Test Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Insurance Guidewire and test automation. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Guidewire applications and collaborate with BA, dev and QA teams to ensure quality.

The ideal candidate has GT UI/API skills, Selenium Java, Playwright and familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise in Guidewire applications and automation tools.
• Strong experience with Guidewire Testing (GT) UI/API and test automation.
• Experience with P&C insurance domain is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Guidewire applications.
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for Guidewire implementations.
• Develop automation frameworks and enhance existing frameworks.
• Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects and ensure quality deliverables.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Guidewire Automation Tester with strong experience in Insurance Guidewire and test automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Guidewire applications and automation tools, with a strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Guidewire applications.
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for Guidewire implementations.
• Develop automation frameworks and enhance existing frameworks.
• Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects and ensure quality deliverables.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Guidewire Testing (GT) UI/API.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium(Java) automation tool.
• Experience with Playwright(Java/TypeScript) is an added advantage
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, etc.
