Job summary

Accor's Mercure Hyderabad KCP location is seeking a Guest Service Associate (GSA) for Food & Beverage. You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals and drinks, and ensure a smooth dining experience with top-notch service standards.

You will maintain cleanliness, handle transactions, and work with the kitchen to ensure timely preparation. A year ofFO&B experience, HACCP knowledge, and strong English communication are required; a hospitality degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in hotel operations or food & beverage service.
• Strong service-focused personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
• Understanding of HACCP food safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Basic math skills for handling financial transactions.
• Ability to memorize menu items and make recommendations to guests.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using POS systems.

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate (GSA) - Food & Beverage to join our team in Mercure Hyderabad KCP, India. As a GSA, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of service and efficiency.

• Greet and escort guests to their tables, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, demonstrating thorough knowledge of menu items and daily specials
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to service standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including table settings and side stations
• Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions efficiently
• Upsell and promote food and beverage offerings to maximize revenue
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and concerns, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) at all times
• Assist in opening and closing procedures of the restaurant
• Support other Food & Beverage outlets during peak times or as required
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and briefings as scheduled
