Job description

Role & responsibilities

We're hiring a Growth Product Manager to own how people discover, sign up for, and get value on the web product. You'll run the experimentation engine across our website, signup and onboarding flows, turning traffic into activated, retained, paying users. This is a zero-to-one role: you'll build our growth function from the ground up, including the funnel, tracking, experimentation practice and first growth bets.

You'll lead a cross-functional pod of engineers, a designer and an analyst, and partner closely with Marketing, SEO, Lifecycle and Data. You'll report to Director of Product.

What you'll do
  • Own the web funnel end to end:visitor signup activation conversion to paid, across marketing pages, pricing, signup, onboarding and in-product upgrade moments.
  • Build growth from zero to one:stand up the first funnel dashboards and experimentation process, then find, validate and launch new growth loops and acquisition channels where none exist yet.
  • Run a high-velocity experimentation program:form hypotheses from data and user research, size opportunities, design A/B and multivariate tests, and ship experiments per quarter with sound statistical rigor.
  • Set the growth roadmap:prioritize bets by expected impact, confidence and effort, and balance quick wins with larger structural changes (e.g. new onboarding, pricing-page redesign, product-led trials).
  • Define and instrument metrics:own the funnel metrics and dashboards, run the tagging plan in Google Tag Manager (tags, triggers, data layer, conversion events), partner with Data on attribution and experiment analysis, feed accurate conversions back to Google Ads, and make sure every launch is measurable.
  • Improve activation:find the "aha" moment, shorten time-to-value, and design onboarding, empty states, templates and nudges that get new users there.
  • Drive acquisition on web:work with SEO and Performance Marketing on landing pages, programmatic SEO, page speed, Core Web Vitals and conversion-rate optimization. Partner on Google Ads to align campaigns, keywords and landing pages, improve Quality Score, and lower cost per acquisition.
  • Shape go-to-market (GTM):run market research, competitor analysis and customer interviews; size and prioritize segments; define the ideal customer profile; and work with Marketing and Sales on positioning, messaging, pricing and launch plans for new products and features.
  • Use AI to grow faster:apply AI to personalize onboarding and landing pages, generate and test copy and creative variants, speed up research and analysis, and spot new growth opportunities in user data.
  • Lead the pod:write clear specs, run rituals, and keep engineering, design and analytics moving fast together.
  • Share what you learn:publish experiment readouts, keep a learnings library, and influence the broader product org with evidence.
What success looks like

Timeframe

Outcome

First 30 days

You know the funnel cold: baseline conversion at each step, the biggest drop-offs, and the state of tracking. You've met key partners and shipped your first small test.

First 90 days

You own a prioritized growth roadmap and a steady experiment cadence. At least one test has moved a core metric (e.g. visitor-to-signup or signup-to-activation rate).

First 6 months

You've delivered a measurable lift in [primary metric, e.g. new paid conversions] of [X%], built a trusted experimentation process, and are shaping the next year's growth strategy.

What you bring
  • 3-5 years of product management experience, with at least 2 Year in growth, conversion or monetization roles on a web product.
  • A track record of moving funnel metrics through experimentation, with specific results you can walk us through.
  • Zero-to-one experience: you've launched a new product, feature, funnel or growth channel from scratch (at a startup or a new team), found early traction, and scaled what worked.
  • Strong grasp of A/B testing: hypothesis design, sample sizing, statistical significance, novelty effects and when not to test.
  • Hands-on analytics skills: comfortable writing SQL and working in tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA4 or Looker without waiting on an analyst.
  • Solid understanding of how the web works: page performance, SEO basics and front-end constraints.
  • Go-to-market experience: running market and customer research, sizing segments, defining an ideal customer profile, shaping positioning and messaging, and planning launches with Marketing and Sales.
  • Hands-on Google Tag Manager experience: setting up tags, triggers, variables and a data layer, debugging in Preview mode, and keeping GA4 and Google Ads conversions accurate.
  • Fluency with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) in your daily workflow, and a practical sense of where AI can improve growth: personalization, content at scale, research synthesis, analytics and experimentation speed.
  • Working knowledge of Google Ads: campaign structure, conversion tracking and enhanced conversions, landing-page experience and Quality Score, and how spend and CPA tie back to funnel metrics.
  • Clear, concise writing and the ability to turn messy data into a decision others will act on.
  • Comfort leading without authority and moving fast amid ambiguity.
Nice to have
  • Experience with product-led growth: free trials, freemium, self-serve upgrades and paywalls.
  • Pricing and packaging experiments.
  • Programmatic SEO or large-scale landing-page systems.
  • A background in engineering, data science or design.
  • Experience in [B2B SaaS / consumer / marketplace] products
