Department: Product Management — Digital Platform
Reporting To: VP / Chief Product Officer
Location: Hybrid (Gurgaon)
Experience: 9+ Years in Product Management
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are looking for a seasoned Group Product Manager (GPM) to own and drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our Digital Platform. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role ideal for a product leader who has built and scaled consumer-facing digital products at top B2C and D2C companies. You will lead multiple product squads, work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, marketing, and business teams, and define the roadmap for our platform at scale.
As a GPM, you will be responsible for the full product lifecycle — from discovery and ideation to launch and growth — while mentoring a team of Product Managers and ensuring tight alignment with business goals and customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy
- Define and own the multi-year product vision and strategy for the Digital Platform in alignment with business objectives.
- Translate company goals into a coherent platform roadmap that balances customer value, technical feasibility, and business impact.
- Identify whitespace opportunities through deep market research, competitive benchmarking, and customer insights.
- Be the internal evangelist for the platform — communicating the roadmap, priorities, and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Platform Ownership & Roadmap Execution
- Own end-to-end product areas spanning app/web experience, checkout, discovery, personalization, loyalty, and platform infrastructure.
- Build and maintain a prioritized product backlog; lead quarterly and annual planning cycles.
- Drive OKR-based goal setting for the product squads and track progress rigorously against KPIs.
- Manage interdependencies across multiple product lines, ensuring coherent and integrated user experiences.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner closely with Engineering, Design (UX/UI), Data Science, Marketing, CX, and Business teams to deliver products on time and at quality.
- Lead product reviews, sprint demos, and go-to-market planning sessions.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for product decisions across the group.
Team Management & Mentorship
- Directly manage and mentor 3–6 Product Managers and Associate PMs; build a high-performance product culture.
- Drive hiring, onboarding, goal-setting, and career development for the product team.
- Establish best practices for product discovery, user research, documentation, and release management.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Define success metrics and instrumentation strategies for all product initiatives.
- Work with data analysts to build dashboards, run A/B experiments, and derive insights to inform roadmap decisions.
- Champion a culture of experimentation and rapid iteration.
Customer Centricity
- Lead qualitative and quantitative user research initiatives; champion the voice of the customer internally.
- Synthesize customer feedback, NPS data, and behavioral analytics into actionable product improvements.
- Ensure every product decision is anchored in real user pain points and validated hypotheses.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 9+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a lead/group/senior PM role managing other PMs.
- Proven track record of building and scaling consumer-facing digital products (mobile app, web) at a top B2C or D2C company with significant user base (1M+ users preferred).
- Deep understanding of D2C/B2C growth levers: acquisition, activation, retention, monetization, and referral.
- Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced startup or a scaled digital business.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional strategic thinking — ability to zoom in and out between long-term vision and day-to-day execution.
- Strong analytical mindset; fluency in product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Clevertap, GA4, etc.).
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills; ability to influence without authority across all levels.
- Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks; experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma, or equivalent tools.
