Job summary

Darwinbox Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced EHS leader to design and implement policies, management systems, plans and training programs aligned with Behaviour-Based Safety standards and ISO/OHSAS standards (18001, 14001 & 9001) and process safety standards.

The role emphasizes zero accidents, fire safety, and preventive maintenance of safety equipment, with responsibilities including fire system design, traffic management and mentoring a safety team.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech degree with Diploma in Industrial Safety from Govt. Recognized Institute.
• 10-12 years of experience in safety management, preferably with OEM exposure.
• Experience in designing and implementing EHS policies and ISO/OHSAS standards.
• Knowledge of fire safety systems and process safety standards.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement EHS policies, management systems, plans and training programs.
• Manage safety within and beyond the factory with focus on zero accidents and no loss due to fire.
• Design and deploy fire safety systems and monitor fire personnel.
• Drive preventive maintenance program of fire and safety equipment.
• Design and deploying traffic management to prevent accidents.

Job description

• Designing & implementing EHS Policies, Managementsystems, plans, training programs and general procedures while utilizing the BehaviourBased Safety Standards and latest international ISO & OHSAS standardsincluding 18001, 14001 & 9001 and Process Safety Standards.
• Managing the safety within and out of batterylimit with key focus on zero accident and no loss due to fire. Excellentcommunication & relationship management skills with demonstrated abilitiesin mentoring motivated teams/ workforce.
• Designing and implementing fire safety systemand monitoring, controlling & deploying fire personnel round the clock.
• To drive preventive maintenance program offire and safety equipment
• Designing and deployingtraffic management and its control to prevent accident.
• Degree: BE/BTech
• Required Certification/s: Diploma in Industrial Safety from Govt.Recongnized Institute
• Industry:Preferably from OEM
• Years of experience: 10-12 Years

Required Skills

• Shouldhave at least 10 to 12 years ofexperience which includes Contractor safety
• Soundknowledge on Statutory compliances, Audits, Emergency preparedness & Mockdrill with reference to HSE.
• Functionalexpertise in managing the safety with key focus on zero accident
• Should have excellent communication &relationship management skills with abilities in mentoring motivated teams/workforce.
