• Strategic finance & business leadership: Define long-term strategy, expansion plans, and growth initiatives with the Board and business leadership.
• Financial planning & controllership: Oversee budgeting, MIS, reporting, consolidation, and cash flow for listed companies.
• Listed company compliance & governance: Ensure SEBI/Companies Act compliance, governance, and reporting to boards.
• Investor relations & fundraising: Build relationships with investors, banks, and rating agencies; lead fundraising.
• Taxation, legal & risk management: Ensure efficient tax planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Team leadership & transformation: Build a high-performing finance team and drive digital transformation in finance operations.

Role Objective

The Group CFO will provide strategic financial leadership across both listed companies and play a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth, profitability, governance, capital efficiency, and stakeholder confidence. The incumbent will work closely with promoters, Board members, investors, bankers, and business leadership teams to strengthen financial performance and enable long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Finance & Business Leadership

• Partner with the Board and business leadership in defining long-term business strategy, expansion plans, and growth initiatives.
• Drive financial planning, business forecasting, and profitability improvement across manufacturing and export businesses.
• Lead the strategic evaluation of investments, acquisitions, joint ventures, and diversification opportunities.
• Provide commercial insights to improve operational efficiency, cost optimization, and margin enhancement.

2. Financial Planning & Controllership

• Oversee budgeting, MIS, financial reporting, consolidation, and cash flow management for both listed companies.
• Ensure strong financial controls, compliance with accounting standards, and accurate reporting practices.
• Drive working capital optimization, treasury management, and capital allocation strategies.
• Monitor plant-level financial performance and operational KPIs.

3. Listed Company Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations, the Companies Act, listing requirements, and corporate governance norms.
• Lead Board presentations, Audit Committee reviews, and shareholder communications.
• Oversee statutory audits, internal audits, secretarial compliance, and risk management frameworks.
• Strengthen governance practices and financial transparency across the Group.

4. Investor Relations & Fundraising

• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, banks, financial institutions, and rating agencies.
• Lead fundraising initiatives, including debt structuring, banking relationships, and capital market interactions.
• Drive investor communications and enhance market confidence in the Groups growth story.

5. Taxation, Legal & Risk Management

• Ensure efficient tax planning, compliance, and regulatory adherence.
• Oversee legal, financial, and commercial risk management frameworks.
• Develop systems for internal controls, enterprise risk management, and business continuity.

6. Team Leadership & Transformation

• Build and mentor a high-performing finance and accounts team across Group companies.
• Drive digital transformation, automation, and process excellence within finance operations.
• Foster a culture of accountability, governance, and business partnership.
