Job summary

HTK in Mumbai seeks a Graphic Designer to study briefs, ideate visuals, and produce logos, banners, thumbnails, and layouts that align with brand guidelines.

You will refine designs with AI-based tools, ensure high-quality retouching, and collaborate with creative directors and copywriters to deliver final visuals that captivate audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in design or communications with 2–3 years of experience in the role.

• Strong portfolio across a wide range of creative projects; English proficiency is a MUST.

Responsibilities

Graphic Designer

Your Role

• Study design briefs, research, ideate and conceptualise visuals based on requirements.
• Create illustrations, logos , typefaces, banners, thumbnails, and other designs.
• Edit multiple thumbnails and create various size adaptations.
• Create title logos with English typefaces.
• Utilize AI-driven design tools to support logo creation , creative enhancements, and image retouching while maintaining brand and quality standards.
• Perform high-quality retouching and visual refinements on images, posters, and creative assets in line with project
• Ensure timely and accurate updates in internal project-tracking systems, including task status, asset links, and progress documentation.
• Liaise with global teams and stakeholders to support the artwork.
• Strong sense of colour palette and layouts that match the brand image and expectations.
• Work with copywriters and creative directors to produce the final design.
• Amend designs after feedback and ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and as per brand guidelines.
• Demonstrating strong file management and housekeeping skills to maintain an organized and efficient filing system.
• Comprehensive understanding of Over The Top platform trends and the capability to create competitive designs that captivate and engage users effectively.

To Succeed in this Role

• Bachelors in design / communications or related field with 2-3 years of experience in the role.
• Prior experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft office and other graphic design software.
• Strong portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects.
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web.
• Demonstrated prior experience in utilizing AI-based tools for design and creative workflows.
• Prefer candidates with experience using task management platforms, such as Monday.com, to coordinate and collaborate on design projects.
• Fair analytical skills and excellent eye for detail.
• Proficient in English and English typeface is a MUST.
• Prior experience of working with an OTT will be preferred.
• Good communication skills, passionate about creativity & willingness to learn.
• Staying abreast with industry and design trends
• Demonstrated proficiency in applying AI technologies to elevate design outcomes and deliver innovative solutions.
