Job summary

Ciel HR is seeking a Manufacturing/Tooling Associate to work on the shop floor in Vadodara. The role involves reading technical drawings, supporting tool fabrication and CNC activities, and maintaining documentation.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Design and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth tooling operations. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with AutoCAD or SolidWorks and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Support tool fabrication, assembly, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Assist in CNC machining and tooling activities
• Follow SOPs, work instructions and quality standards
• Maintain proper documentation and reports
• Work with Production, Quality, Design and Maintenance teams
• Demonstrate problem-solving and teamwork
• Willingness to work on shop-floor environment

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Support fabrication and maintenance of tooling fixtures

• Basic understanding of Engineering Drawing and measurements
• Fundamentals of Tool, Die, Jig & Fixture and Gauge
• Basic knowledge of Manufacturing & Machining Processes
• Awareness of CNC machines and programming
• Basic understanding of Material Science, Heat Treatment and Tool Steels
• Fundamentals of Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Electrical systems
• Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM tools such as AutoCAD / SolidWorks
• Understanding of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and Safety.
