Job summary

VENWIZ TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED in Pune is seeking a fresher mechanical engineer to support expediting and vendor coordination. You will monitor manufacturing at vendor facilities to ensure timely delivery of mechanical equipment and project materials, coordinating with procurement, quality teams, and stakeholders to keep schedules on track.

You will travel to vendor locations, assist in FATs, and prepare progress dashboards and reports.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of mechanical concepts.

• Knowledge of expediting of critical equipment (A/C chillers, tanks, panels).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and expedite manufacturing activities at vendor facilities to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Coordinate with vendors, procurement, quality teams, and project stakeholders to meet schedules.
• Track manufacturing progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement recovery plans.
• Conduct regular vendor visits to review production status and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Participate in FAT and monitor equipment readiness before dispatch.
• Prepare weekly expediting reports, progress dashboards, and action trackers.
• Present project progress and critical updates to project teams and senior management.

Qualification - Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• Freshers (0-1 year). Internship/project exposure in manufacturing, EPC, industrial or infrastructure projects is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and expedite manufacturing activities at vendor facilities to ensure timely delivery of mechanical equipment, fabricated components, and project materials. Coordinate with vendors, procurement teams, quality teams, and project stakeholders to ensure project schedules are met.
• Track manufacturing progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement recovery plans to minimize delays.
• Conduct regular vendor visits to review production status and resolve issues affecting delivery timelines.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and agreed delivery schedules.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and monitor equipment readiness before dispatch.
• Prepare weekly expediting reports, progress dashboards, vendor visit reports, action trackers, and recovery plans.
• Present project progress and critical updates to project teams and senior management.
