Job summary

Alten in Pune is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with a BE Mechanical and 4-5 years of experience to contribute to the design of packaged units like compressors and generators. The role requires 3D/2D CAD proficiency using Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks, and hands-on PLM work with Enovia.

You will also create BOMs and coordinate with international customers. Strong problem-solving, input-based planning, and timely delivery are essential.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical with 4–5 years of experience.
• Sound knowledge of sheet metal, piping, fabrication, welding manufacturing processes and related standards.
• Experience in design of packaged units such as compressors and generators.
• 3D and 2D CAD expertise on Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Hands-on PLM experience; Enovia preferred; knowledge on creating BOM.
• Ability to understand inputs, plan actions, and review own work.
• Strong ability to deliver planned activities within timelines and communicate with international customers.

• - Should have good ability to understand inputs and plan action based on input requirements, review their own work.
