Job summary

iTeach Schools seeks a field-based liaison to engage government and educational stakeholders across Navi Mumbai and Panvel. You will build relationships with municipal, education departments, and NGOs, and ensure compliance and reporting.

The role requires a graduate in social work with 2+ years in the social sector, Marathi and English proficiency, and willingness to travel within Navi Mumbai and Panvel. Salary ranges 4.32–5.28 LPA with industry benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify, build and maintain relationships with major school-related stakeholders such as municipal corporations, education departments, Zilla Parishad and state government bodies.
• Serve as the central communication channel between iTeach Schools and stakeholders.
• Strengthen relationships between school leaders, social workers, and admin staff with relevant authorities.
• Resolve issues between the government and iTeach Schools and stay updated on policy changes.
• Facilitate MIS, reporting, and data review within each school and ensure compliance.
• Develop advocacy at government level by collaborating with NGOs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, build and maintain relationships with all major school-related stakeholders - Administrative representatives: Municipal corporation, Education department, Zilla Parishad, State government, SSC board, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan etc. officials.
• Political representatives: Corporators, local leaders, community influencers.
• Be the communication channel and central point of contact between iTeach Schools and the stakeholders.
• Focus on building the relationship of our school's leaders, social workers, and admin associates with the stakeholders relevant to the school.
• Resolve issues between the government and iTeach Schools.
• Keep abreast of any government policies and procedures amendments and update the relevant stakeholders within and outside of iTeach Schools.

ll: Compliance & Systemic reform

• Obtain all necessary permissions and compliances for schools from relevant departments.
Work with schools to put systems in place via MIS, reporting, and data review in each school regularly.
• Work with School social workers to set up, train and manage the School Management Committee.
• Build advocacy at the government level by working with other NGOs in the city.
• Find and provide access to different scholarships and government benefits for out students.

Education and Competencies

• Required: Graduate or above, with a major in Social work
• Required: Minimum 2 years experience in the Social Sector.
• Mandatory: Proficiency in reading, writing, and typing in Marathi and English.
• Preferred: Prior experience of working with government
• Willing and able to travel within Navi Mumbai and Panvel

Salary
