Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in gold appraisal or a similar role in banking/financial services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough appraisal of gold items submitted as collateral for loans.
• Evaluate purity, weight, and market value of gold assets using standard testing methods.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of gold market trends, pricing and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with loan officers to provide accurate asset valuations for loan decisions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal audit standards for gold appraisal and collateral management.
• Document appraisal findings with detailed records for audit.
