Job summary

IIFL Finance Ltd is seeking a Gold Loan Executive at a branch level in India. The role involves engaging with walk-in customers, explaining gold loan processes and schemes, and performing valuations with accuracy. You will handle cash during disbursals and payments, maintain LOS entries, and ensure proper KYC documentation and record-keeping.

The position focuses on end-to-end gold loan operations from valuation to disbursal and closure, with emphasis on customer service and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Attend to walk-in customers and explain gold loan processes and schemes.
• Perform gold valuations and determine purity accurately.
• Pack, store, and return gold items after loan closure.
• Manage cash during disbursals, interest collection, and closures.
• Create/modify entries in the LOS during disbursal, payments, and closures.
• Maintain branch registers (Key, Cash, Packet Movements).
• Ensure proper collection/storage of customer KYC documents.
• Follow up with customers for timely interest and principal payments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Attending to walk-in customers, addressingqueries about the gold loan process and schemes offered.
• Conducting gold valuations andidentifying gold purity accurately.
• Properly packing and storing gold andgold packets after loan disbursal. Returning gold ornaments to customers afterloan closure.
• Managing cash (system & physical)during loan disbursals, interest collection, and loan closures.
• Create new CUID in system &modifications in LOS during Disbursal, Part Release / Payments & LoanClosure.
• Maintain branch registers as per theguidelines – Key / Cash / Packet Movements, Staff & Customer Visits etc.
• Ensuring proper collection and storageof customer KYC documents.
• Following up with customers for timelycollection of interest and principal payments.
• Providing good customer service at everystep i.e. while pledging, releasing, or making interest payments.

Additional Responsibilities

Insummary, the Gold appraiser is responsible for the end-to-end transactionprocess for gold loans - from valuation to disbursal to closure, along withcustomer service.
