Job summary

IIFL Finance Ltd invites a Gold Appraiser at our branch to handle end-to-end gold loan processes—from valuation to disbursal and closure—ensuring accuracy and customer care. You will assess purity, perform valuations, and manage necessary documentation and security during pledges and repayments.

You will handle cash during disbursals, maintain branch registers, and follow up with customers for timely payments.

Qualifications

• Attending to walk-in customers and addressing queries about the gold loan process.
• Conducting gold valuations and identifying gold purity accurately.
• Packing and storing gold and packets after loan disbursal; returning ornaments after loan closure.
• Managing cash during loan disbursals, interest collection, and loan closures.
• Creating new CUID in LOS during Disbursal/Part Release/Payments/Loan Closure.
• Maintaining branch registers for Key/Cash/Packet Movements and staff visits.
• Ensuring proper collection and storage of customer KYC documents.

Responsibilities

• Attend to walk-in customers and explain the gold loan process.
• Conduct gold valuations and determine purity accurately.
• Pack, store, and return gold ornaments after loan closure.
• Handle cash during disbursals and loan closures; monitor interest collection.
• Create CUID in LOS during disbursal and payments.
• Maintain branch registers and document movements per guidelines.
• Ensure proper KYC document collection and storage.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Attending to walk-in customers, addressingqueries about the gold loan process and schemes offered.
• Conducting gold valuations andidentifying gold purity accurately.
• Properly packing and storing gold andgold packets after loan disbursal. Returning gold ornaments to customers afterloan closure.
• Managing cash (system & physical)during loan disbursals, interest collection, and loan closures.
• Create new CUID in system &modifications in LOS during Disbursal, Part Release / Payments & LoanClosure.
• Maintain branch registers as per theguidelines – Key / Cash / Packet Movements, Staff & Customer Visits etc.
• Ensuring proper collection and storageof customer KYC documents.
• Following up with customers for timelycollection of interest and principal payments.
• Providing good customer service at everystep i.e. while pledging, releasing, or making interest payments.

Additional Responsibilities:

Insummary, the Gold appraiser is responsible for the end-to-end transactionprocess for gold loans - from valuation to disbursal to closure, along withcustomer service.

CTC Upto 3 Lacs ( for Non-Metro) / 4.20 Lacs ( for Metro )
