Job summary

Nahar Group in Mumbai seeks a seasoned Procurement & Contracts leader to oversee vendor management and the complete contracting lifecycle for residential real estate projects. You will drive strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and timely procurement of materials, equipment and services to keep projects on schedule.

The ideal candidate holds a Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering with a Postgraduate qualification in Materials Management or Supply Chain Management, and has 20+ years

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering is required.
• Postgraduate qualification in Materials Management or Supply Chain Management preferable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Contracts & Procurement function by developing & managing vendors.
• Drive procurement activities, including vendor identification and development, negotiations, strategic sourcing, purchase planning, and timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
• Oversee the complete contracting lifecycle, including preparation and evaluation of RFQs, EOIs, tenders, bidding processes, contract negotiations, award of contracts, and contract administration while ensuring transparency and commercial prudence.
• Monitor procurement budgets, spending patterns, and cost performance through periodic MIS, spend analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support informed management decisions.
• Collaborate closely with Project, Design, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless procurement and contract execution aligned with project timelines and organizational objectives.
