Job summary

Flipspaces is seeking a seasoned General Manager – Projects (EPC) to lead its EPC business with complete ownership of P&L, project execution, operational excellence, and client satisfaction. This role requires a strategic leader capable of delivering large-scale turnkey projects while driving profitability and growth across India.

The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end project delivery, manage multiple portfolios, and build high-performing teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery

Qualifications

• 10-18 years of leadership experience in EPC, Design & Build, or Infrastructure projects.
• Mandatory experience with P&L ownership and managing large project portfolios.
• Strong background in one or more sectors: Industrial & Manufacturing, Warehousing & Logistics, Hospitality, Data Centres / Institutional Projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L for the EPC business, including revenue, margins, cash flow, and profitability.
• Lead end-to-end execution of multiple EPC projects—from design coordination and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
• Drive commercial excellence through cost optimisation, value engineering, contract management, and risk mitigation.
• Build and strengthen relationships with clients, consultants, developers, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Develop project governance frameworks, SOPs, KPIs, and performance dashboards to drive operational excellence.
• Lead, mentor, and build high-performing multidisciplinary project teams.
• Partner with the Business Development team to support bid strategy, project acquisition, and business expansion.
