Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising all phases of construction projects while ensuring quality standards, safety compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of construction projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, reports, contracts, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or operational issues promptly.
- Manage procurement activities and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
- Track project costs and prepare budget forecasts and financial reports.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure quality control throughout all stages of construction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management principles.
- Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and safety standards.
Preferred Skills
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
- Experience handling commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.
- Strong budgeting and cost-control abilities.
- Team management and stakeholder coordination expertise.
