Job summary

Vodafone Idea Limited, a leading telecom provider and part of the Aditya Birla Group & Vodafone partnership, seeks a Head - Network Information System to drive automation and digitisation of project processes nationwide. The role maintains the network static database as the single source of truth for technology rollouts.

You will lead the NIS team, own central MIS, ensure data integrity, and collaborate with IT and external partners to enable timely feature rollouts and strategic reporting.

Qualifications

BE/B.Tech in Electronics/Telecom/Computer Science or equivalent; MBA preferred.
Total experience of 12+ years with at least 6 years in telecom project MIS, network databases, or digitisation.
Strong leadership with stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Drive automation and digitisation of network processes to reduce routine MIS effort and accelerate rollouts.
Govern the VIU network static database, maintaining accurate, current data as the single source of truth.
Lead development and adoption of the Swayam platform across all rollout activities.
Ensure timely rollout of new portal features and applications supporting technology projects.
Own central project MIS as SPOC, delivering accurate DPR, MNRR, and leadership reporting decks.
Drive data integrity and standardisation across network information systems and rollout trackers.
Lead and develop the network information system team, building automation and analytics capability.
Drive performance management and continuous skill development across the team.
Ensure team HSW compliance and safe work practices.

Job Purpose

The Head - Network Information System drives automation and digitisation of project processes and maintains the network static database as a single source of truth, enabling smooth, data-driven technology rollouts nationally.
