Job summary

Vodafone Idea Limited is seeking an experienced O&M Field Engineer to be responsible for network uptime and maintenance of radio and MW networks. The role requires 7–8 years in BSS O&M RAN, with hands-on experience on Nokia and Ericsson equipment.

You will coordinate with SNOC, IPs, CODE, and projects for day-to-day operations, ensuring integrity and availability of core network components.

Qualifications

• Experience in BSS O&M RAN (Nokia & Ericsson) domain.
• 7–8 years of experience in O&M for telecom networks.
• BE in Electronics and Communication with relevant professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure network uptime for radio and MW with >99.70% uptime.
• Perform operation and maintenance of assigned tasks and preventive maintenance.
• Analyze daily reports to sustain network performance.
• Rectify MW and RAN alarms and coordinate with SNOC, IPs, CODE, and projects.
• Collaborate with teams for day-to-day operations in BSC/RNC and transport.

Job Purpose

Responsible for network uptime for radio, MW. Support to improve the network KPIs for all technology.

• Engineer will responsible for Operation and maintenance of assigned task
• Engineer will responsible for breakdown and preventive maintenance
• Engineer to analyze daily report and deliver >99.70% uptime
• Engineer will responsible for MW and RAN alarm rectification
• Engineer to coordinate with SNOC ,IPs, CODE, project, etc. for day to day operation
• Engineer having hands on experience in BSC/RNC and Transport domain

• Sound knowledge on troubleshooting of RAN/MW network.
• Technical skill set of optical & transport network.
