The role requires 0–1 year in procurement or related fields, exposure to ERP systems, and strong communication in German (B2). It is a full-time onsite position in Viman Nagar, Pune.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
• 0–1 year of procurement or supply chain experience is a plus.
• Exposure to ERP systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist buyers in confirming purchase orders with suppliers.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery to the warehouse.
• Send reminders to suppliers and track order progress.
• Update delivery dates and order details in the ERP system.
• Capture timely order confirmations from suppliers for new orders.
• Maintain positive supplier relationships through effective communication.
• Raise escalation for cases needing buyer attention.
• Support daily procurement operations to ensure smooth processes.
• Track and report procurement KPIs and performance metrics.

Job Summary

The Jr. Purchasing Executive supports the purchasing function by ensuring timely order confirmations, proactive supplier follow-ups, accurate ERP updates, and effective coordination between buyers, suppliers, and internal teams. This role contributes to maintaining service levels, avoiding delivery delays, and supporting smooth procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support buyers in confirming purchase orders with suppliers.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure parts are delivered to the warehouse on time to
• Send regular reminders to suppliers and track order progress.
• Update and maintain correct delivery dates and order details in the ERP system.
• Ensure timely receipt of order confirmations from suppliers for newly placed orders.
• Build, maintain, and manage positive supplier relationships through effective communication.
• Highlight any risks or scenarios that could lead to delays in delivery of goods.
• Escalate cases require immediate buyer attention.
• Support the purchasing team in daily operational activities to ensure smooth
• Track, prepare, and report procurement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key
• Good communication skills in German (B2 level) to manage internal and external stakeholder contacts.
• Strong follow-up and coordination abilities
• Basic understanding of supply chain and procurement processes
• Attention to detail and accuracy in ERP data management
• Ability to identify issues early and elevate appropriately
