Job summary

Siemens Energy invites engineers to design Turbogenerator components and assemblies, applying core mechanical engineering principles and NX/Creo skills. You will contribute to generator service projects, support R&D initiatives, and participate in design reviews to meet strict technical requirements.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of mechanical engineering experience, knowledge of GD&T, DFA/DFM, and familiarity with SAP OPP and Teamcenter.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with 2-4 years of industrial experience.
• Hands-on experience with CAD tool NX is a must; Creo (ProE) is a plus.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, GD&T, DFA/DFM.
• Good knowledge of Strength of Materials, Mechanical Design Concepts, Machine Designs.
• Knowledge on SAP OPP transactions, and Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of Generator product (components and functioning) is desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Designing Turbogenerator components and assemblies with strong understanding of design and functionality of the products.
• Engineering & Design work for Generator Service Engineering projects.
• Supporting service R&D initiatives and contributing to product/solution improvement through innovative approach to complex problems.
• Participate in the Design Reviews to ensure the achievement of technical requirements of engineering projects.
• Communicate technically complex and commercially sensitive information on various internal and external platforms.
