Job summary

Vascon Engineers is seeking a senior construction professional with BE/BTech in Civil and 15+ years of experience in Building Construction EPC projects. The role focuses on directing projects, finalizing requirements with clients, and detailed on-site planning and supervision of resources and subcontractors.

The candidate will ensure timely project completion within budget, maintain safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with consultants and contractors for seamless execution.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Civil engineering is required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Building Construction EPC projects.
• Experience in directing project evaluations and cost/benefit analysis.
• Strong on-site coordination and supervision of subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Directing and evaluating projects; presenting cost/benefit analyses at decision points.
• Finalizing requirements and specifications with senior management/clients; scheduling and resource planning.
• Interpret and analyze variations to enable decision making; monitor tender drawings and BOQ preparation.
• Identify and evaluate subcontractors and their performance; induct and develop site staff.
• Ensure on-site construction aligns with time and budget constraints; maximize output.
• Coordinate among consultants and contractors; ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Oversee all construction activities and provide technical inputs; develop method statements and quality plans.
• Ensure statutory compliance, on-site safety, and labor law adherence; maintain licenses and NOCs.

Job Description

• Directing, evaluation of project and presenting cost/benefits analysis at project decision points for Building Construction EPC Projects.
• Finalizing requirements and specifications in consultation with senior management/ clients as well as project scheduling including material & manpower planning.
• Ability to interpret and analyze variations in works to enable decision making
• Ability to identify and evaluate sub-contractors and their performance
• Induct, develop, motivate employees for higher productivity.
• Ability to interpret and analyze variations in works to enable decision making
• Anchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize the output.
• Maintaining sustained coordination among consultants and contractors.
• Monitoring the preparation of tender drawings/specifications and finalization of requirements, estimates & BOQ
• Overseeing all construction activities including providing technical inputs of methodologies of construction and coordination for site management activities.
• Preparing and reviewing method statements and work specific quality control plans as per specifications of contract document.
• Implementation of all statuary compliances related to HSE as defined by regulatory authorities under all applicable labor laws etc., and ensure safe and healthy environment for all project personnel.
