Based in NCR region, you will drive strategic BD across MoD, OEMs, and defense agencies. You will oversee end-to-end project execution, coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, and operations, and guide lifecycle management for advanced defence electronics and surveillance systems.

Qualifications

• 16–20 years of experience in Defence, Aerospace, or Government technology programs.
• Experience in defence electronics manufacturing or aerospace system integration.
• Exposure to defence modernization programs.

Responsibilities

• Defence & Aerospace Project Execution: lead end-to-end programs, manage deployment, integration, and commissioning.
• Strategic Business Development: identify opportunities, drive growth, build partnerships with OEMs and government bodies.
• Government & Defence Liaison: engage with MoD/MHA, handle tendering, proposals, and contracts.
• Stakeholder Management & Defence Engagement: maintain relations with defence leadership and procurement authorities.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a strong background in Defence/Aerospace to lead strategic business development and project execution initiatives.

The role requires deep knowledge of government procurement processes, defence hierarchy, aerospace systems, and electronics-based defence technologies, along with the ability to manage large-scale government and modernization programs. JD_General Manager_BD

Key Responsibilities

1. Defence & Aerospace Project Execution

• Lead end-to-end execution of defence and aerospace technology programs
• Manage system deployment, integration, and commissioning
• Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams

2. Strategic Business Development

• Identify and develop opportunities across Defence, Aerospace, and Homeland Security sectors
• Drive growth for defence electronics and aerospace solutions
• Build strategic partnerships with OEMs, government bodies, and industry stakeholders
• Contribute to long-term business growth strategies

3. Government & Defence Liaison

• Engage with Ministry of Defence (MoD), Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), and related agencies
• Handle tendering, proposal development, and contract negotiations
• Ensure compliance with Defence Procurement Procedures (DPP)

4. Stakeholder Management & Defence Engagement

• Maintain strong relationships with defence leadership and procurement authorities
• Demonstrate understanding of defence hierarchy and command structures
• Participate in technical presentations and defence demonstrations

5. Product Strategy & Development

• Support market expansion for defence and aerospace product lines
• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams for product innovation
• Provide inputs for system integration and lifecycle management
