Atul is seeking a seasoned Logistics Lead to manage domestic bulk logistics, ensuring timely delivery to B2B customers with controlled costs. The role drives freight budgeting, SOP adherence, and ERP system enhancements while coordinating with sales, marketing, and plant teams nationwide.

Responsibilities include reducing lead times, optimizing costs, and supervising 200+ contract staff, with a focus on compliance, safety, and stakeholder collaboration across 44 depots.

Role purpose:

This role leads domestic bulk logistics and makes sure finished goods reach all B2B customers on time and at controlled cost. It also owns timely feedback and responses to customer queries and complaints within agreed timelines.

Key responsibilities:

• Cost and lead time

- Control freight and operational cost within the approved budget.

- Hold monthly performance reviews with each business team, including SLA compliance.

- Advise sales and marketing on changes in freight charges.

Scope of the role

- Functional: Lead transportation, freight and costing; resolve transportation challenges; manage SLAs.

- People: Internal stakeholders (plant heads, 200+ contract workers) and external stakeholders.

- Legal and compliance: Rules and regulations for goods movement, including hazardous goods, integration and transportation.

- Warehousing (FG, RM, PM): Space and inventory management, inventory categorisation, ERP (Oracle), contract management, SOPs.

- Depots: 44 depots across the country, plus stores.
