Suguna Foods in Pune, India is seeking a results-driven logistics professional to oversee warehouse operations, maintain stock accuracy, and coordinate transportation for outbound shipments.

You will lead a team, optimize costs, ensure compliance with import/export rules, and partner with sales and procurement to streamline supply chain performance.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse & Inventory Management: Oversee facility operations, maintain stock accuracy, manage returnable assets or packaging, and conduct regular audits.
• Transportation & Fleet Coordination: Plan shipping routes, select transport modes (road, rail, air, sea), schedule dispatches, and track deliveries.
• Vendor & 3PL Management: Negotiate freight rates, manage third-party logistics providers, and enforce service level agreements.
• EXIM & Compliance: Handle import/export documentation, customs clearances, safety regulations, and trade compliance.
• Budgeting & Cost Control: Monitor logistics spend against departmental budgets, track KPIs (such as cost-per-delivery or transit time), and reduce waste.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and coach warehouse or logistics staff while coordinating cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and customer service.
