Job summary

BSR & Co in Bengaluru seeks a Senior DevOps/Cloud Architect with 12+ years of experience across cloud platforms and automation. You will lead design, deployment, and optimization of high-availability infrastructure and DevOps pipelines.

Responsibilities include implementing IaC, managing CI/CD, and collaborating with security and cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions. Strong scripting skills in Python and Groovy are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 12+ years of experience in application, cloud and related platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible and Packer for cloud management.
• Ability to advise on cloud deployment models (private/public) and virtualization.
• Proficient in DevOps practices and tools including CI/CD, pipelines, and IaC.
• Strong Python and Groovy scripting for automation tasks.
• Experience delivering high-availability infrastructure for mission-critical systems.
• Familiarity with Bitbucket, GitHub and SVN tools.
• Experience in complex IT infrastructure design and implementation.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience in consulting environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer Agile/DevOps enablement tools and applications.
• Follow SDLC processes including testing, reviews and monitoring.
• Implement and fine-tune monitoring and alerting for robust performance.
• Use Python and Groovy for scripting and automation tasks.
• Collaborate with security to ensure policy compliance and risk reduction.
• Explore new technologies (e.g., OpenAI) for automation opportunities.
• Manage source control systems (Git, Subversion) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Administer Bitbucket, Jenkins and GitHub for build and deployment automation.
• Configure and manage Artifactory, NexusIQ and SonarQube for code quality and package management.
• Handle on-premise and cloud deployments via DevOps pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Foster team collaboration through Jira and Confluence administration.

Description

• 12 to 15 years of experience in application, GCP ,Devops, cloud and related technology platforms
• Experience with managing cloud platform using Terraform, Ansible and Packers.
• Ability to provide expert strategic advice for cloud application development, cloud application deployment, private versus public cloud options and virtualization
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices/tools including CICD, Pipelines, Github Actions, IaC
• Strong scripting knowledge in Python. Able to write automation script in Python and Groovy DSL
• Experienced in managing the delivery of a high-availability infrastructure to support mission critical systems and service.
• Experience in SVN tools like Bitbucket, Github
• Experience in handling Complex IT Infrastructure Solution Design & Implementation
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, effective problem-solving skills and logical thinking ability and strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to direct efforts of cross-functional teams for a collaborative proposition
• Synthesis and analytical skills
• Experience of working in a consulting environment is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Primary Roles and Responsibilities
• Design, engineering, integration, and enhancements of Agile and DevOps enablement tools and applications by utilizing DevOps principles
• Follow SDLC process and practices (Functional Specifications and Testing, Design Specifications, Code Reviews, Unit Testing, Monitoring)
• Implement, manage and fine-tune monitoring and alerting systems to ensure robust system performance and swift incident response
• Utilize Python and Groovy for scripting and automation tasks related to tools administration and integrations
• Work closely with security teams to ensure tool compliance with organizational security policies
• Reduce Toil, increase automation, evaluate new technologies (Open AI) and explore their applicability to address new requirements
• Solid understanding of source control systems(Git, Subversion)
• Administer Bitbucket, Jenkins and GitHub to automate build and deployment processes
• Manage and configure jFrog, Artifactory and NexusIQ for effective package repository maintenance
• Administer SonarQube for continuous code quality assessments
• Configuring, building, and deploying applications into on-premise/cloud(DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions)
• Administer, manage and configure Jira and Confluence to foster team collaboration and productivity
