Job summary

Tekskills is seeking a seasoned GCP DevOps Engineer to join our team in India. The role focuses on cloud platform management, DevOps practices, performance optimization, and security across mission-critical production services.

You will lead design discussions, ensure SLAs are met, and drive reliability with monitoring, IAM, and scalable architectures on GCP, Azure, and AWS. WFO in Bengaluru/ Gurgaon/ Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• Hands on operations experience in cloud platform management, DevOps, performance and security.
• 10+ years understanding production service dependencies.
• Ability to ensure services are designed and delivered as mission critical.
• Experience meeting and reviewing SLAs with measurement and governance.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring, security, resiliency, performance and reporting.
• Capability to guide customers in service design with thought leadership.

Job Title: GCP DevOps engineer

Location: Gurgaon/Hyderabad/Bengaluru (WFO)

Experience range 10-15 years

Job Description:

• Hands on expertise in various aspects of operations such as cloud platform management, DevOps, performance and security
• 10+ years of experience in understanding the technical dependencies of production services
• Ensure Services are designed and delivered to be mission critical
• Bring in enough mechanism to ensure the SLAs for the projects are strictly adhered to, and measured as well as reviewed periodically
• Have strong knowledge on various areas of service design and management like monitoring, security, resiliency, performance, scale and reporting
• Guiding the customer in the overall service design journey and providing Thought Leadership

Technical Skills

• Expertise in DevOps & Cloud tools
• Cloud – GCP / Azure / AWS
• Version Control (Git, Gitlab, GitHub, ADO)
• Hands-on experience in Container Infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, Hosted solutions)
• Ability to define container-based environment topology following principles of designing a well-architected framework.
• Infrastructure Automation (Chef/Puppet/Ansible, Terraform, Cloud Formation)
• CI/CD tools on-premises/cloud (Azure DevOps)
• Monitoring, Logging, and Security (Dynatrace, Datadog, log analytics, hosted tools such as ELK, Splunk)
• Scripting languages: Python, Bash, and Shell
• Hands-on experience in designing pipelines & pipelines as code.
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end deployment process & strategy
• Hands-on experience of GCP with a good understanding of computing, networks, IAM, Security, and integration services with production knowledge on
