Job summary

ITC Infotech Bengaluru seeks an experienced DevOps/SRE engineer to drive cloud platform design on GCP, focusing on GKE, VPC, IAM, and secure networking. You will implement Terraform-based infrastructure, manage Kubernetes clusters, and automate CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub.

You will also build robust observability using Dynatrace and Grafana, diagnose issues across apps and infra, and collaborate with stakeholders in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform.
• Ability to write and debug Terraform code from scratch.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes GKE.
• Docker familiarity and container orchestration experience.
• Jenkins pipeline-based CI/CD experience; GitHub integration.
• Scripting skills: Python and Shell scripting.
• Observability experience: Dynatrace, Grafana for logs and metrics.
• Working knowledge of Java and/or Go applications.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and TCP/IP networking.
• Experience with incident management lifecycle and MTTR improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage cloud platform on GCP including GKE, IAM, VPC, and networking.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Maintain containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Docker; troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.
• Enhance observability with Dynatrace and Grafana; monitor logs and metrics.
• Debug across application and infrastructure layers; improve MTTR/MTTA.
• Engage with stakeholders; operate in high-pressure production environments.

Cloud Platform

• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform GCP: GKE, VPC, IAM, Load Balancing, LB, Certs, KMS, logs and metrics exploration
• BigQuery, PubSub
• Good understanding of cloud architecture and landing zones

Infrastructure as Code

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform
• Ability to write and debug Terraform code from scratch

Containers Orchestration

• Deep expertise in: Kubernetes GKE
