Dun & Bradstreet India seeks a Principal DevOps Engineer with deep GCP and Terraform expertise to design, implement, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions.

The role focuses on automation-first platforms, self-service capabilities for development teams, and advancing CI/CD, reliability, security, and overall DevOps maturity across enterprise apps and data platforms.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience managing and deploying commercial software products.
• Proven experience managing solutions on GCP & AWS utilizing a broad set of services.
• In-depth Knowledge of Terraform is a must.
• Experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with policy-as-code and security automation.
• Experience in cost optimization and cloud governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of monitoring & observability tools (Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, etc.).
• Strong understanding of performance issues on GCP & AWS.
• Strong experience in Scala/Spark (Java & Python beneficial).
• Experience in creating automated CI/CD pipelines using Harness, GitHub Actions, Gitlab, Jenkins, etc.
• Certification in GCP/AWS is a major plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Ownership mindset; proactive collaboration with teams; continuous learning.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Principal DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to design, implement, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions.

This role focuses on building automation-first platforms, enabling self-service capabilities for development teams, and driving improvements in CI/CD, system reliability, security, and overall DevOps maturity across enterprise applications and data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer solutions on GCP foundation platform using Infrastructure As Code methods (e.g., Terraform).
• Develop capabilities to meet business requirements.
• Focus on making the build and deployments fully automated.
• Implement optimizations in the cloud software development life cycle process to provide improvement in productivity, tools and techniques
• Building and configuring the necessary tools to give runtime insights to resolve problems
• Validate solutions using proof of concepts and prototypes.
• Manage code repo and ensure the team follows Release Branch strategies.
• Collaborate across the different teams and areas such as Cloud Platform, Security, Data, Risk & Compliance to create cost-effective optimum solutions for the business.
• Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to software engineers, on development on a Cloud environment best practices.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in Scala/Spark (Java & Python beneficial)
• Capability to conduct root cause analysis for Production Incidents and resolution for future prevention.
• Experience in creating automated CI/CD pipeline using Harness, GitHub Actions, Gitlab, Jenkins, etc.
• Experience of deploying and operating Big Data Service Platforms highly desirable.
• Knowledge and building and maintaining source code branches and packaged into artifacts is preferred
• Certification in GCP/AWS is a major plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite skills
