Job summary

Alstom Bangalore is seeking a GCC SC Material Planner to manage end-to-end material planning and supplier communications within the Solutions Centre. You will create planning documents in the Alstom ERP and work with Site Material Planners, Buyers, and regional process experts to ensure timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates have BE/BTech in a related field, 3–10 years in supply chain, and proficiency in ERP MM modules, MS Excel, and BI. English fluency and strong collaboration skills are essential.

• Manage end-to-end material planning and supplier relationships.
• Extract MIS from the Supply Chain Information System.

Could you be the full-time GCC SC Material Planner in Bangalore we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain and materials management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.

You’ll create Material Planning documents in GSI (Alstom ERP Solution) and communicate delivery requirements to suppliers. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Site Material Planner, Site Buyer, Key User & Regional Business Process Experts), coordinate with internal & external networks, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of ensuring the right information is available in the system for Site Material Planner reference, but also act as a representative of the site when interacting with suppliers.

We’ll look to you for:

• Executing materials planning processes within the Solutions Centre Team
• Receiving supplier delivery confirmations and maintaining accurate system data
• Coordinating tasks within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• End-to-end material planning and supplier relationship management
• Strong analytical skills to extract Management Information Systems (MIS) from a Supply Chain Information System
• Effective collaboration and communication across networks

• 3-10 years of experience in supply chain processes and tools
• Proficiency in an ERP tool with a Materials Management Module
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills
• Understanding of Material Requirement Planning
• A certification in Supply Chain Management (desirable)
• Proficiency in tools like MS EXCEL & BI
• Previous experience in a Shared Services Centre or remote working (desirable)
