Job summary

Alstom in Bengaluru seeks a GCC SC Material Planner to manage end-to-end materials planning, liaise with suppliers, and ensure data integrity in the MM module.

You will work with Site Material Planner, Site Buyer, and regional experts, extract MIS data, and drive timely deliveries while maintaining SLA adherence.

Qualifications

• The candidate should hold a BE/BTech with Supply Chain specialization preferred.
• 3-10 years of experience in supply chain processes and tools.
• Proficiency in an ERP tool with a Materials Management module.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
• Understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
• Supply Chain certification desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and BI tools.
• Experience in a Shared Services Centre or remote working is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute materials planning processes within the Solutions Centre Team.
• Receive supplier delivery confirmations and maintain system data.
• Coordinate tasks within SLA agreements.
• Perform end-to-end material planning and supplier relationship management.
• Extract MIS from Supply Chain Information System and present insights.

Could you be the full-time GCC SC Material Planner in Bangalore we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain and materials management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.

You’ll create Material Planning documents in GSI (Alstom ERP Solution) and communicate delivery requirements to suppliers. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Site Material Planner, Site Buyer, Key User & Regional Business Process Experts), coordinate with internal & external networks, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of ensuring the right information is available in the system for Site Material Planner reference, but also act as a representative of the site when interacting with suppliers.

We’ll look to you for:

• Executing materials planning processes within the Solutions Centre Team
• Receiving supplier delivery confirmations and maintaining accurate system data
• Coordinating tasks within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• End-to-end material planning and supplier relationship management
• Strong analytical skills to extract Management Information Systems (MIS) from a Supply Chain Information System
• Effective collaboration and communication across networks
