Job summary

GLOBELANCE in South Delhi is seeking an experienced Apparel Buying Merchandiser to lead end-to-end merchandising for high-end fashion and luxury party wear. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure product quality from concept to delivery.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in apparel merchandising within a buying house, strong trend analysis, and excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of apparel merchandising experience in a buying house.
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in merchandising software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Merchandising: Oversee the entire merchandising process from product selection to delivery, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer preferences.
• Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, negotiating terms and ensuring quality standards are met.
• Trend Analysis: Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify opportunities for new product lines and enhancements to existing collections.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and sales performance, making recommendations for reorders and markdowns as necessary.
• Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and sales teams to ensure cohesive product offerings that align with brand strategy.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, inventory status, and market trends to senior management.
