Responsibilities

• Manage complete furniture production from raw materials to finished products.
• Manufacture modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, cabinets, and office furniture per project.
• Read 2D drawings and AutoCAD drawings, BOMs, and specs.
• Ensure products meet client dimensions, material quality, design, and durability.
• Supervise carpenters, machine operators, technicians, and workers.
• Monitor cutting, drilling, edge banding, CNC, assembly, polishing, finishing, packing.
• Conduct quality inspections at each stage and before dispatch.
• Manage materials like plywood, MDF, laminates, hardware.
• Control wastage, costs, rework, and rejections.
• Coordinate with design, purchasing, project, and installation teams.
• Prepare production schedules and report progress.

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands‑on Furniture Production Manager with strong experience in modular and customized furniture manufacturing. The candidate will manage end‑to‑end production, interpret technical drawings, supervise factory teams, and ensure that finished products meet client‑approved designs, quality standards, specifications, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete furniture production, from raw materials to finished products.
• Manufacture modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, cabinets, office furniture, and customized furniture as per project requirements.
• Read and interpret 2D drawings, AutoCAD drawings, dimensions, BOQs, and approved production specifications.
• Ensure manufactured furniture matches client expectations regarding dimensions, material quality, design, durability, hardware, and finishing.
• Supervise carpenters, machine operators, technicians, and production workers.
• Monitor cutting, drilling, edge banding, CNC operations, assembly, polishing, finishing, and packing, as applicable.
• Conduct quality inspections at every production stage and before dispatch.
• Manage plywood, MDF, HDHMR, laminates, veneers, hardware, fittings, and other furniture materials.
• Control material wastage, production costs, rework, and rejection.
• Coordinate with design, purchase, project, and installation teams to ensure timely execution.
• Prepare production schedules, monitor daily targets, and report progress to management.

Mandatory Skills & Expertise

• Hands‑on experience in modular and customized furniture manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of furniture materials, hardware, fittings, and manufacturing techniques.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand measurements in millimeter's.
• Expertise in production planning, quality control, and manpower management.
• Practical understanding of furniture assembly, finishing, and defect correction.
• Ability to independently manage production operations and meet client deadlines.

Candidate Requirements

• 4-9 years of relevant experience in furniture manufacturing or modular interior production.
• Experience in a furniture manufacturing unit, workshop, or modular furniture factory.
• Diploma/Degree in Furniture Technology, Mechanical, Production, or a relevant field preferred.
• AutoCAD knowledge, CNC/panel-processing exposure, and MS Excel/ERP skills will be an advantage.
