Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Interior Design / Furniture Design / Modular Furniture.
• Leadership experience managing a team of designers.
• Experience with luxury residential interiors and bespoke furniture.
• Strong knowledge of modular kitchens, wardrobes, wall panelling, doors, and luxury furniture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of 3D design software is a plus.
• Excellent client-handling and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete design team and function.

• Review drawings and specifications before releasing them for production.
• Guide the team on design detailing, materials, finishes, hardware, and technical solutions.
• Ensure design accuracy and minimize errors, rework, and production issues.
• Manage design timelines and ensure projects are delivered as per committed schedules.
• Handle design-related client meetings and presentations.
• Support the sales/business development team with design inputs and technical solutions.

Candidate Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in **Interior Design / Furniture Design / Modular Furniture**, with leadership experience.
• Strong experience in **luxury residential interiors and bespoke furniture**.
• Experience managing a team of designers.
• Strong knowledge of modular kitchens, wardrobes, wall panelling, doors, furniture, materials, and finishes.
• Excellent understanding of design detailing and furniture manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in **AutoCAD and relevant design software**; knowledge of 3D design software will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of production drawings, BOQs, materials, hardware, and technical specifications.
• Good client-handling and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively between **design, manufacturing, and site execution teams**.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Preferred Background

Candidates from **luxury furniture manufacturers, premium interior companies, modular furniture brands, bespoke furniture, or high‑end residential interior firms** will be preferred.
