Job summary

8i Ventures is an early stage venture firm backing India's best founders. The role focuses on operations and finance, driving investor onboarding from docs to tax computations and overseeing compliance and audits.

Recent commerce graduates with Excel skills and internship experience will thrive, working in a lean team with high-priority work from week one, and opportunities to grow as the fund scales.

Qualifications

• Recent commerce graduate (Class of 2025/26) from BCom/BMS/BBA/BAF/BSc or equivalent.
• Strong Excel skills and a love for numbers.
• At least one internship in a finance role.
• Curious, careful, and eager to learn how a venture fund runs from the inside.

Responsibilities

• Onboard investors from onboarding to funding: docs, KYC, tax computations.
• Manage the fund administrator and compliance consultants; review outputs for errors.
• Own the audit, filing and reporting calendar.

What you'll do

• Run investor onboarding from "yes" to money in the bank: docs, KYC, tax computations
• Manage our fund administrator and compliance consultants, review their output and catch the errors before anyone else does
• Own the audit, filing and reporting calendar.

Background

• Recent graduate (Class of 2025 or 2026) from any commerce stream - B.Com, BMS, BAF, BBA, BSC or any other
• Comfortable in Excel, with a genuine love for numbers and working with data.
• At least one internship in a finance role, in any capacity.
• Curious, careful, and eager to learn how a venture fund runs from the inside.
